Lo studio analizza il potenziale strategico dei dati raccolti tramite la piattaforma PayTourist del Comune di Formia, con l’obiettivo di supportare l’introduzione e l’avvio di una governance turistica orientata ai dati. La metodologia adottata si articola in tre fasi: analisi descrittiva, elaborazione di indicatori sintetici e costruzione di una matrice rischio–opportunità. L’analisi mira a verificare la coerenza tra l’evidenza empirica emersa e gli obiettivi programmatici delineati dal Documento Unico di Programmazione (DUP) 2022–2024.
The study analyzes the strategic potential of the data collected through the PayTourist platform of the Municipality of Formia, with the aim of supporting the introduction and implementation of a data-driven tourism governance model. The adopted methodology is structured in three phases: descriptive analysis, elaboration of synthetic indicators, and the development of a risk–opportunity matrix. The analysis seeks to verify the consistency between the emerging empirical evidence and the programmatic objectives outlined in the Single Programming Document (DUP) 2022–2024
